Welcome

The Construction Law Institute (CLI) is a unique think tank that brings together experts and professionals from various fields within the construction industry. These include Engineers, Architects, Lawyers, Contractors and other industry stakeholders.

CLI aims to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and the development of best practices in construction law, dispute avoidance and dispute resolution.

The key activities of the Construction Law Institute are as follows:

  1. Research: CLI conducts research on various aspects of construction law, including legal frameworks, regulations, case studies, and emerging trends. This research helps to identify challenges and opportunities in the field and provides valuable insights to professionals and policymakers.
  2. Policy Advocacy: CLI engages in advocacy efforts to influence policy development and reform in the construction industry. It may provide recommendations, expert opinions, and evidence-based insights to government bodies, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  3. Training and Education: The institute offers training programs, workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance the professional skills and knowledge of individuals working in construction law. These programs cover topics such as contract management, dispute resolution, construction claims, risk management, and legal compliance.
  4. Accreditation: CLI conducts accreditation programs to recognise and certify professionals who have attained a high level of expertise and competency in construction law. Accreditation serves as a benchmark for employers and clients seeking knowledgeable and qualified individuals within the construction industry.

By engaging in these activities, the Construction Law Institute aims to contribute to the advancement of construction law as a specialised field and promote the efficient and equitable resolution of claims and disputes in the construction industry.
