Arch. Doryne Oburah Mbwire is a vision-driven Architect with over a decade of work experience in the architectural field. She is a Corporate Member of the Uganda Society of Architects (USA), and a Registered Architect with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) of Uganda.
Currently, she serves as an Architect and Project Manager at Engineering Ministries International (EMI) in Uganda. In her previous career roles as Quality Control Manager and Project Architect, she has consistently demonstrated expertise in Project Management, Practice Management, Master Planning, Project Design, and Contract Management.
Her commitment to the profession extends beyond her work; she actively participates in volunteer work and community involvement. She is currently serving on the Board of Research and Development at the Uganda Society of Architects (USA). Her previous roles include Chair of the Board of Research and Development, Member of the Board of Education, and Chairperson of the USA Strategic Plan Review Team.
Doryne is passionate about Integrated Design and Building Technology, and she is dedicated to mentoring young professionals. She adopts a context-focused approach to design, aiming to integrate projects within their environments to meet the needs of specific users and contexts.
