Eng / QS Ben Kiwu Rogers is an Engineer turned Construction Costs & Contract Specialist. Ben initially trained as a Civil Engineer and eventually specialized in Engineering Costs Management through the Quantity Surveying Practice. Ben practices and is locally registered in Uganda as a Quantity Surveyor with the Surveyor’s Registration Board (SRB) and as an Engineer with the Engineer’s Registration Board (ERB).
Ben is a Professional member of various International Professional organizations among them the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb – UK), Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB – UK), Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF), Society of Construction Claims Specialists (SCCS), Institute of Construction Claims Practitioners (ICCP) and Society of Construction Law (SCL).
Ben is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS – UK) and is a RICS’ Candidate Assessor / Examiner / Interview Panelist.
Ben currently serves in the dispute resolution arena as an Adjudicator & Arbitrator and has been on Arbitral tribunals and Dispute Adjudication Boards (DAB / DAAB) as a Member and Chairman for various construction projects.
